August was the month the long game paid out. All ten tracked search terms now sit in Google's top ten, three of them at position three, and one climbed in from outside the top hundred. Impressions, average position, users, sessions and page views all grew on July, and the Business Profile put another 62 calls straight through to the office. Thirteen years of consistent work, compounding.
Ten commercial terms are tracked for bellplumbing.com.au across emergency and commercial plumbing in Brisbane and the northside. In August, six of them climbed and every single one finished inside the top ten. The headline is Commercial Plumber Brisbane Northside, which was not ranking in the top hundred a month ago and now sits at position three.
Commercial Plumber Brisbane Northside went from nowhere to position three in a single month, and its plural sits at four. Commercial work carries a higher job value than domestic call-outs, so this is the most valuable movement on the board, and it opens a lane Bell Plumbing was not competing in a month ago.
Search Console and Google Analytics both point the same way. Bell Plumbing was seen more often, ranked higher on average, and the people who arrived went further into the site than they did in July.
Page views rose 29 per cent and engagement events rose 46 per cent, both well ahead of the 11 per cent growth in visitors. That gap is the interesting part: the same growth in audience is producing noticeably more reading, scrolling and clicking per person. Twenty two people started an enquiry form during the month. Visitors are not bouncing off the home page, they are working their way through the service pages.
Organic search remains the engine at 58 per cent of all new users. The notable shift is direct traffic, up 41 per cent, which is what a business looks like when people already know the name and type it in. That is what thirteen years of visibility buys.
Paid search is small but efficient. Fifty-nine new users produced the highest engagement rate on the site at 54.8 per cent, which says the ad copy and the landing page are well matched and there is room to scale that spend. Organic delivered 388 sessions and 560 page views, both up on July, and direct traffic growing 41 per cent is the clearest sign that the brand itself is now doing work that no ad budget has to pay for.
The home page carries the site, with 346 views and 260 users, and it holds them for just over three hours of combined engagement time. Behind it, the service pages all grew: blocked drains nearly quadrupled, the services index more than doubled, and service areas went from ten views to twenty five.
How to Deal with Drain Flies brought 61 sessions and 54 of them were brand new users, with 38 minutes of engagement time. Simple Ways to Unblock Your Toilet added another 35 sessions from 30 people, every one of them new to the site. These articles rank for problems people search at eleven at night, and they are how a household that has never heard of Bell Plumbing first meets the business. Adding a clear call to the office at the foot of each article is the cheapest conversion win on the site.
The Business Profile is where a blocked drain at nine at night turns into a job. In August it was seen 874 times across Google Search and Maps, and put 62 calls straight through to the office without the caller ever needing to visit the website.
Calls, website clicks and direction requests added up to 150 direct interactions with the business in August. On paid search, that volume of qualified contact would carry a real media cost. Here it comes off a listing that ranks because the underlying SEO work holds it there, month after month, which is exactly what thirteen years of local search groundwork is supposed to deliver.
The rankings are where we want them, so September is about widening the lead and turning more of that visibility into calls. Both of these build directly on something August proved is working.
Most agency relationships do not last three years. This one has run since 2013, and the results in this report are what that length of time actually buys: a top-ten position on every commercial term worth having, a brand people now type in directly, and a library of articles that keeps introducing Bell Plumbing to households who have never called a plumber before.
Rankings like these are not bought in a quarter. They are the result of thirteen years of consistent publishing, technical maintenance, local listing care and steady iteration, through several major Google algorithm changes and a full rebuild of how search results are presented. The compounding is the strategy. Thank you for the trust that made it possible.
